RESIDENT ENGINEER (Based In Redang)

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity with an international 5 star hotel or resort.
  • Degree in Mechanical & Electrical or equivalent.
  • Must have good knowledge of building maintenance in a resort environment.

PURCHASING MANAGER (Based In Redang)

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years working experience in related field preferably in a hotel environment.

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER (Based In Redang)

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years experience as Executive Housekeeper or similar position.
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Matured with good supervisory and strong people management skills.

FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism.
  • Must have minimum 8 years experience in similar capacity with proven record in Hospitality industry.
  • Boutique Hotel or Resort Experience would also be advantageous.
  • Must have multi cultural experiences, exposed to a variety of different countries and working conditions with a variety of different culinary values.
  • Must be skilled in every part of international cuisine and service. A very good knowledge of modern technologies applied within the food and beverage service industry.
  • Must have a good sense of diplomatic leadership of a multinational crew serving a multinational clientele.
  • Must have very good knowledge of establishing Policies and Procedures, Standard Operating Manuals, and evaluating Managers and Supervisors performance .
  • Must have carried some financial responsibility for multiple food outlets.
  • Able to write and communicate in English.
  • Pleasant personality and customer focused.
  • Able to work under pressure, Self-starter, results oriented and also a team player with excellent and proven problem solving skills.
  • Energetic, result-oriented and prepared to face challenges – irrelevant of consequences.
  • Actions and implements training resolves on a daily basis to ensure an excellent working department.
  • Be able to Succession Plan and implement comprehensive training programmes for each section.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Redang,Kuala Terengganu.

SAFETY & SECURITY MANAGER

Requirements
  • Holder of Degree or Diploma in Security Management and OSH.
  • Must have minimum 8 years experience in Resort Island.
  • Preferably manager specializing in security/armed forces/protective services or equivalent.
  • Excellent communications skill for both written and verbal. Multiple language skills are preferred but English and Bahasa is a must.
  • Risk management assessment, as well as ensuring compliance with local, state and federal guidelines regarding emergency and security.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and deliver operational efficiency and improvement.
  • Ability to lead a team of security personnel towards achieving security objective.
  • Ability to lead specific service projects and managing them until completion.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis and investigation.
  • Ability to perform risk and hazard analysis.
  • OSHA knowledge.
  • Maintain close liaison and rapport with relevant Government Enforcement Agencies.
  • Meticulous, result oriented, strong leadership skills and investigation techniques.
  • Must have a high level of professionalism, honesty and integrity and excellent work ethic.
  • Firm and tactful when dealing with people.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Redang,Kuala Terengganu.

RESIDENT ENGINEER

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity with an international 5 star hotel or resort.
  • Degree in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the local statutory and government regulations of building management.
  • Must have good knowledge of building maintenance in a resort environment.
  • Possess strong leadership skills.

GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in similar capacity with an international 5 star hotel or resort.
  • Must have multi cultural experiences, exposed to a variety of different cultures or countries.
  • Presentable with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken in Japanese/Russian/Arabic/English.
  • Well versed with OPERA system would be an added advantage.

RESTAURANT MANAGER (FINE DINING)

  • Minimum 5 years working experience in similar capacity with an international 5 star hotel or resort.
  • Degree in Hotel Management, Tourism or equivalent.
  • Must possess fine dining experience and service skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage an international, multi-cultural and diversified team.

DUTY MANAGER

  • Minimum 3 years experience in room division.
  • Experience working in an international destination spa resort would be an added advantage.
  • Preferably with a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Presentable with excellent communications skills, both written and oral with proficiency in English.
  • Well versed with OPERA system.

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

  • Minimum 5 years experience in overall operations preferably with room division experience.
  • Experience working in an international destination spa resort would be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent.
  • Ability to lead and manage an international, multi-cultural and diversified team.
  • Presentable with excellent communications skills, both written and oral with proficiency in English.
  • Able to drive a consistent service standard for the Resort.
  • Diplomatic and tactful in dealing with guests and all level of management.

SALES MANAGER (BASED IN KL)

  • Presentable, possess initiative, commitment and drive with minimum 3 years sales experience in a hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record in the hotel sales industry and or related fields would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess own transport and able to travel as and when required.

EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

Interview Tips

Great interviews arise from careful groundwork. You can ace your next interview if you:

1. Enter into a state of relaxed concentration.

2. Act spontaneous, but be well prepared.

3. Set goals for the interview.

4. Know the question behind the question.

5. Follow up with an effective "thank you" letter.

6. Consider the interviewer's agenda.

7. Expect to answer the question, "Tell me about yourself." This is a pet question of prepared and even unprepared interviewers.

8. Watch those nonverbal clues. Experts estimate that words expressonly 30% to 35% of what people actually communicate; facial expressions and body movements and actions convey the rest.

9. Be smart about money questions. Don't fall into the trap of telling the interviewer your financial expectations.

10. Don't hang out your dirty laundry. Be careful not to bare your soul and tell tales that are inappropriate or beyond the scope of the interview.
